OPPO announced the company’s latest mid-range OPPO A5 smartphone in China. It sports a 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch and 87.8% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 450 with 4GB of RAM and runs on ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo). It packs a huge 4230mAh battery that promises gaming for 11 hours and video playback of 14 hours. It features an illusion texture back panel that has been designed using a nano-scale microcrystalline technology.
It has dual rear cameras the primary is 13 MP, along with a secondary 2 MP for portrait shots. On the front side it has an 8 MP camera with AI beautify features that intelligently recognizes 296 facial features.

The device comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, the storage memory can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD card.

It has dual rear camera the primary 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, secondary 2MP camera with f/2.4 aperture.
On the front side it has 8MP front-facing camera, f/2.2 aperture.

The mobile supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB OTG. It has Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

Price and availability
The OPPO A5 is priced at 1500 yuan (US$ 225 / Rs. 15,530 approx.) and comes in Mirror Blue and Mirror Pink colors. It is available for order in China and goes on sale from July 13th.
