Vivo has announced the cheaper version of the Vivo X21 smartphone Vivo X21i in China. It also sports 6.28-inch FHD+ 19:9 Super AMOLED display with a notch, 90.3% screen-to-body ratio, 1.66mm narrow bezels on the sides. But, it is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 12nm SoC and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.0. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone and packs a 3245mAh battery with support for fast charging.
It has dual rear cameras the primary is 12 MP camera having primary sensor with Samsung 2L9 sensor and Dual Pixel technology, the secondary is 5 MP to capture the depth information and it features AI scene recognition that can automatically detect scenes. On the front side it has 24 MP camera with face unlock that scans 1024 facial features.

The device comes in two variants 6GB RAM with 64GB internal memory and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. The memory can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD card.

It has dual rear cameras the primary is 12MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, secondary is 5MP camera with f/2.4 aperture.
On the front side it has 24MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The mobile supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. It has 3.5mm audio jack, AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip and Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD). It also has a Fingerprint sensor on the back of phone and comes with Face Unlock feature as well.

The mobile packs 3245mAh battery with fast charging. It has a size measurement of 154.37×74.98×6.99mm and weight 159g.
Price and availability
The Vivo X21i is priced at 2698 yuan (US$ 423 / Rs. 28,735 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version as well as for 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version. It comes in Black, Aurora White and Ruby Red colors will go on sale from May 19th.
