Sony announced the company’s latest flagship smartphone Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium in the XZ2 series. They had introduced Sony Xperia XZ2 and Sony Xperia XZ2 compact at MWC 2018 in Barcelona. The Xperia XZ2 premium sports a 5.8-inch 4K HDR screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a 3D glass body and features the same Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back. It has front facing stereo speakers with S-Force Front Surround as well.
It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform and runs Android 8.0 (Oreo). It has IP65/68 ratings for dust and water resistance. It packs a 3540mAh battery with support for fast charging and also has Qi wireless charging. It also has a Fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone.
It has dual rear camera the primary is 19 MP with a new Dual Motion Eye camera 1/ 2.3″ Exmor RS memory stacked sensor, 960 fps super slow motion videos (FHD/HD), Predictive Capture, Anti-distortion shutter, Triple image sensing technology and 5-axis image stabilization for shake-free videos, along with a secondary 12 MP monochrome camera. It also has 4K HDR Movie recording and also offers ISO sensitivity 51200 for photos and ISO 12800 for videos. It has a 13 MP front-facing camera.

The mobile supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C. It has USB Type-C audio, Stereo speaker with S-Force Front Surround, DSEE HX, LDAC. It also has Single / Dual SIM along with Fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone.

The mobile packs 3540 mAh Battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology, Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, Qi Wireless charging. It has a size measurement of 158 x 80 x 11.9 mm and weight 236g.
Price and availability
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium price has not been revealed yet. But, it comes in Chrome Black and Chrome Silver colors and will be available globally from Summer 2018.
