Today, at an event in Delhi Google announced that it is bringing job search to Indian job seekers. The new job search in India will let Indian users to connect numerous opportunities across the country. Google had first announced this new search at I/O in 2017, as a key component of Google for Jobs. The Google for Job is actually a company-wide initiative focused on connecting job-seekers and employers through deep collaboration with the job matching industry.
Now, when you search for “jobs near me,” “jobs for freshers,” or job-seeking queries similar to this, the result page will show an in-depth results that allow you to explore relevant job opportunities from across the web. The job postings relevant to you will be shown on the result page from multiple sites from company websites as soon as they are up. Because, Google said that it is working with a number of organizations including Aasaanjobs, Freshersworld, Headhonchos, IBM Talent Management Solutions, LinkedIn, Quezx, QuikrJobs, Shine.com, T-Jobs, TimesJobs, and Wisdomjobs from across the industry to bring the most comprehensive listing of jobs.
Currently, Google has over a million listings across job types and industries from over ninety thousand employers in the country for job search. The new job search page also shows detailed information about each job like job title, location, whether it’s full-time, part-time or an internship, and more. Google has also bring the ability to save job listing directly in this experience, so you can conveniently get back to them whenever you need. Along with saving job listing you can also enable alerts for your job searches that trigger emails updates of related listings.
