Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra

Sony announced the company’s latest smartphone, Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra at the CES 2018. Just like its predecessor, the mobile sports a 6-inch HD screen and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 630 processor and 4 GB RAM. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back and it comes in single/dual SIM variants.

Display

The smartphone sports a 6-inch display with Image Enhance Technology at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Platform

It is powered by 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 630 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 508 GPU and runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box.

Storage

The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB / 64 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 256 GB using the microSD card.

Camera

It has 23MP camera with 1/2.3″ Exmos RS sensor, Hybrid Auto-Focus, 84° wide-angle f/2.0 lens and 16MP front-facing camera with flash, 1/2.6″ ExmorRS sensor, OIS, 88-degree wide-angle f/2.0 lens, secondary 8MP  camera with 120° super wide-angle f/2.4 lens, 1/4″ Exmor R sensor.

Connectivity and Sensors

The device is equipped with fingerprint sensor to provide an extra layer of security besides supporting 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C and Dual SIM (optional) features.

Battery and Dimensions

The mobile packs 3580 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology and weighs 221 grams with 163 x 80 x 9.5mm size measurements.

Price and availability

Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra will be available in Gold, Blue, Black and Silver colors and will start rolling out from February 2018. There is no any word yet on the pricing though.
