LG V30+ with 6″ OLED 18:9 display, Snapdragon 835 launched in India

As promised, the LG launched the company’s latest flagship smartphone, LG V30+ in India. It sports 6-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision display at a resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels with narrow bezels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform and runs on LG UX 6.0+ which is based on Android 7.1.2 out of the box. The mobile can be upgraded later to Android 8.0 Oreo.

It is dust and water resistant with IP68 ratings in addition to passing 14 categories of MIL-STD 810G Transit Drop Test thereby making a good choice for military operations.

The smartphone sports a 6-inch QHD+ OLED display at a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels with a 18:9 aspect ratio, 538 PPI, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.


It is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU and runs on LG UX 6.0+ which is based on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) out of the box. The OS can be upgraded later to Android Oreo.


The device comes with 4 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB (UFS 2.0) internal memory that can be expanded to 2 TB using the microSD card.

  • It has 16MP rear camera with f/1.6-aperture, 71-degree wide-angle lens, dual-tone LED flash, Laser auto focus, OIS, EIS, PDAF, 13MP secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture, 120-degree wide-angle lens.
  • The mobile also comes with 5MP front camera with 90-degree wide-angle lens, f/2.2 aperture.

Connectivity and Sensors

The device is equipped with fingerprint sensor on board besides supporting 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible) and Hybrid Dual SIM connectivity features.

Battery and Dimensions

The mobile packs 3,,300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, Wireless charging and weighs 158 grams with 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.3mm size measurements.

LG V30+ will be available in Silver and Black colors at a price of Rs 44,990 exclusively via amazon.in from December 18.
