Huawei announced the company’s latest smartphone, Huawei Nova 2S in China. This latest mobile in the Nova series sports a 6-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display and is powered by Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC with IntelliSense i6 sensor hub and runs on EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box.
It comes with 16+20 MP dual camera setup on the back and 20 amp camera on the front side. Both the front and back cameras are said to capture stunning portraits with great bokeh effects. The front camera also supports face recognition.

The smartphone sports a 6-inch Full HD+ 18:9 LTPS 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

It is powered by Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 960 (4 x 2.4 GHz A73+ 4 x 1.8 GHz A53) processor + i6 co-processor, Mali G71 Octa-core GPU and runs on EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box.

The device comes with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB internal storage options. It also comes with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage option. The storage memory can be expanded to 256 GB using the microSD card.

- It has 16MP (RGB) + 20MP (Monochrome) Dual rear cameras with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, PDAF, 4K video recording.
- The mobile also has 20MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture, secondary 2MP camera, LED flash.

The device is equipped with a fingerprint sensor on board besides supporting 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / Glonass, NFC, USB Type-C connectivity features.

The mobile packs 3340 mAh battery and weighs 169 grams with 156.9×75.1×7.5mm size measurements.
Price and availability
Huawei Nova 2S will be available in Blue, Rose Gold, Red, Gray and Black colours at a price of 2699 yuan for the 4 GB RAM – 64 GB variant, 2999 Yuan for the 6 GB RAM – 64 GB variant and 3399 yuan for the 6 GB RAM – 128 GB variant respectively.
