Honor View 10 with 5.99″ fullview display launched globally

Honor brand by Huawei has launched the company’s latest smartphone, Honor View 10 at an event in London. The mobile will be launched in India on January 8. This new smartphone is more like an upgraded version of the Honor V10 smartphone.

It is packed with AI-based features such as Facial Unlock technology which will support payment-level authentication.

Honor View 10 Specifications


The smartphone sports a 5.99-inch full HD+ IPS LCD Fullview display at a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9 with 403 ppi pixel density.


It is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.36GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, and an i7 coprocessor and runs on EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box.


The device comes with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage that can be expanded to 256 GB using the microSD card.


  • It has two sensors – one 16-megapixel RGB sensor and the other a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor, complete with an f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, dual-LED flash on its back.
  • The front camera has a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.


The mobile supports 4G VoLTE, dual-band (2.4GHz + 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, Infrared, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C (2.0), and a 3.5mm headphone jack connectivity besides packing proximity, gyroscope, digital compass, accelerometer and ambient light sensors. A fingerprint sensor is also integrated on the home button.

Battery and Dimensions

The smartphone relies on a 3750 mAh battery and weighs 172 grams with 157×74.98×6.97mm size measurements.

Price and availability

Honor View 10 is currently priced at EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 38,000) and GBP 449 (roughly Rs. 38,900). It will be available in the United States, UK, Russia, Spain, Italy, Germany, France and India very soon.

Though the Indian launch date has been announced to be January 8, the company has not revealed its price in the country. We should know such details prior or during the launch in India.
