OPPO announced the cheaper version of the F5 smartphone, OPPO F5 Youth. The new mobile also has 6-inch full HD+ 18:9 full screen display besides packing AI beauty recognition technology which can scan around 200 facial recognition spots to beautify a selfie shot in a perfect manner. It has 16 MP front cam and 13 MP primary camera.

The smartphone sports a 6-inch 18:9 FHD+ full screen AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
It is powered by 2.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P23 16nm processor with 770MHz ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU and runs on ColorOS 3.2 which is based on Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box.
The device comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage that can be expanded to 256 GB using the microSD card.
It has 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The device is equipped with fingerprint sensor on board besides supporting 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and Dual SIM connectivity features.

OPPO F5 Youth will be available in Gold and Black colors at a price of 13990 Philippine Peso (US$ 277 / Rs. 17,880 approx.) or 319000 Kyat (US$ 233 / Rs. 15,085 approx.) and is currently available for sale in Myanmar and Philippines respectively.
