Xiaomi Mi Note 3 with 5.5″ display, dual cameras announced

Xiaomi announced the company’s latest smartphone, Xiaomi Mi Note 3 in China. The mobile packs 5.5-inch 1080p screen is powered by Octa-core processor, dual cameras on the back and a stunning 16-megapixel camera on the front. Let us have a detailed look at the specifications.

The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 94.4%NTSC color gamut, 550 nits brightness and 1500:1 contrast ratio.

It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU and runs on MIUI 9 which is based on Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box.

Storage

The device comes with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB internal storage.

Price and availability

Mi Note 3 will be available at 2499 yuan (US$ 383 / Rs. 24,500 approx.) and 2899 yuan (US$ 445 / Rs. 28,420 approx.) for the 6 GB RAM – 64 GB ROM and 6 GB RAM – 128 GB ROM versions respectively in Black color. The Blue variant of the 6 GB RAM – 128 GB ROM version will cost 2999 yuan (US$ 460 / Rs. 29,400 approx.).
