Samsung announced the company’s latest smartphone, Samsung Galaxy C8. The mobile is the Chinese version of Galaxy J7+ which was released recently. It comes with 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display, 13 MP primary cam, 5 MP selfie cam and much more. Let us now have a detailed look at its specifications.

Display
The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display in Galaxy C8 is of curved glass type.
Platform
It is powered by MediaTek Helio P20 Octa-Core (2.39GHz + 1.69GHz) 64-bit 16nm processor with ARM Mali T880 GPU and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out of the box.
Storage
The device comes in two storage variants of 3 GB and 4 GB RAM. While the former is equipped with 32 GB internal memory, the latter comes with 64 GB internal memory. The storage can be expanded to 256 GB using the microSD card.

It has 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, 5MP secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture and 16-megapixel front camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture.

The device is equipped with a fingerprint sensor on board to provide an extra layer of security besides supporting 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4+5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and Dual SIM connectivity features.

The mobile packs 3000 mAh battery and weighs 180 grams with 152.4 x 74.7 x 7.9mm size measurements.
Price and availability
The smartphone will be available in Rose Gold, Gold and Black colors. Its sale is expected to begin very shortly in China.
