In a few hours from now, people from a few regions in North America are going to experience Solar Eclipse. If you are one of them and want to make this astronomical event a memorable one using your smartphone camera, you’re at the right place right now. Because here in this post, we are going to share you a few tips on how to safely watch a solar eclipse and capture solar eclipse using the mobile camera.
Note: Apple has already confirmed that the iPhones can be used to capture the upcoming solar eclipse.
However, you’d still need our tips to protect your eyes and mobile camera lens to capture the solar eclipse.
Tips to Capture Solar Eclipse using mobile camera
- Acquire Eclipse-friendly shades to protect your eyes. Please note that we are not talking about the sunglasses here because you don’t want to mess with your retina at the end of the day.
- Find the same glasses for your smartphone. Although the rays of light will not really damage the camera lens, it would be better if you can use a filter.
- Do not forget to set up your tripod first. Because you don’t want any shaking output in your captured videos or photos.
That’s it. Follow these three tips and let us know how you find these steps by commenting in the comments section below. We’d love to hear about it from you.
