Display
The smartphone sports a 5.3-inch Quad HD LCD display at a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels with 554 ppi pixel density, 700 nits brightness and sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Platform
It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out of the box. The OS can be updated later to Android O.
Storage
The device comes with 4 GB DDR4X RAM and 64 GB internal storage that can be expanded to 256 GB using the microSD card.
Camera
It has 13MP (Colour) primary camera with OIS + 13MP (Mono), ZEISS optics, 1.12um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, 76.9-degree wide-angle lens, PDAF, IR range finder, dual tone flash and 13MP auto focus front-facing camera with ZEISS optics, PDAF, 1.12um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, 78.4˚ lens.
Connectivity and Sensors
The device is equipped with Barometer and fingerprint sensors on board besides supporting 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (MIMO), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1, NFC connectivity features.
Audio features
The mobile comes with Nokia OZO 360° spatial surround sound, 3 microphones and 3.5 mm audio jack.
Battery and Dimensions
The smartphone packs 3090 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology and has 151.5 x 73.7 x 7.9 mm size measurements.
Price and availability
Nokia 8 will be available in Polished Copper, Steel, Tempered Blue and Polished Blue colors at a price of 599 Euros (US$ 700 / Rs. 44,990 approx.). The shipping will begin in the early stages of next month and will launch in the sub-continent in the beginning of October.
