
Xiaomi announced Xiaomi Mi 5X, the company’s newest mid-range smartphone at an event in China. The highlight of the smartphone is its camera using which you can take photographs in portrait mode, background blur and much more. Let us now have a detailed look at its specifications.

The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass LTPS display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 450 nits brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio.

It is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with 650MHz Adreno 506 GPU and runs on MIUI 8 which is based on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out of the box.
Storage
The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 128 GB using microSD card.
Camera
It has 12-megapixel primary camera with wide-angle lens, 1.25μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, secondary 12MP camera with telephoto lens, 1.0 μm pixel size, f/2.6 aperture, PDAF and 5-megapixel front camera.

Price and Availability
The smartphone will be available in Rose Gold, Gold and Black colors at a price of 1499 yuan (US$ 222 / Rs. 14284 approx.) and will go on sale in China from August 1.
