As promised, HMD Global launched the company’s latest smartphone, Nokia 5 in India. Let us have a detailed look at its specifications.

Nokia 5 Specifications


The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass display at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with 500 nits brightness.


It is powered by 1.4 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 Mobile Platform with Adreno 505 GPU and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system out of the box.


The device comes with 2 GB RAM/3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 128 GB using microSD card.


It has 13-megapixel primary camera with dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size and 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size, 84-degree wide-angle lens.


The mobile supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and Dual SIM connectivity features.

Battery and Dimensions

The smartphone packs a 3000 mAh battery and measures 149.7 x 72.5 x 8.05 mm.

Price and Availability

Nokia 5 will be available in Copper, Tempered Blue, Silver and Matte Black colors at a price of Rs 12,899 and its pre-order will begin on July 7 and it will be available exclusively via offline stores from next month.

UPDATE (November 6, 2017): The 3 GB RAM variant Nokia 5 has been launched in India and will be available exclusively via Flipkart and other chosen retailers in the country.
