Xiaomi announced the company’s latest smartphone, Xiaomi Mi 5C, which is the successor of Mi 4C which was launched in 2015. The mobile is powered by the Chinese tech giant’s own octa core Surge S1 processor. However, let us have a brief look at its specifications.

The smartphone sports a 5.15-inch full HD curved glass display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 550 nits brightness, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 94.4 % of the NTSC color gamut.

It is powered by 2.2GHz Xiaomi Surge S1 64-bit Octa-Core processor with quad-core Mali-T860 GPU and runs on MIUI 8, but can be upgraded later to Android 7.1 (Nougat).

The mobile comes with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory.

It has 12-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash, 1.25 μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, 6P lens 27-mm wide angle lens and 8-megapixel selfie camera with 27 mm wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture.

The mobile is equipped with Infrared and Fingerprint sensors and supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C and Dual SIM (nano + nano) connectivity features.

Xiaomi Mi 5C will be available in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colors at a price of 1499 Yuan (Rs 14560 approximately) and is already available for sale in China.
