As promised, BlackBerry announced the company’s latest smartphone, BlackBerry KEYone which is also codenamed as ‘Mercury’ at the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona. Let us have a brief look at its specifications.

The smartphone sports a 4.5-inch 3:2 display at a resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels with 433 ppi pixel density with scratch-resistant glass protection.
Platform
It is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with 650MHz Adreno 506 GPU and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box.
Storage
The device comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 2 TB using microSD card.
Camera
It has a 12-megapixel primary camera with 4K Video recording, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, ½.3 sensor size, 1.55μm pixel size, Sony IMX378 sensor, dual-tone LED Flash and 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12um pixel size.
Connectivity
The device is equipped with a fingerprint sensor and supports USB 3.1 Type-C, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5 GHz) and 4G LTE.
Battery and other details
The mobile packs a 35.5 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support, weighs 180 grams and has 149.3 x 72.5 x 9.4mm size measurements.
Availability
BlackBerry KEYone will be available in Black color at a price of US$ 549 (Rs. 36,590 approx.) and it will be available from April. The price may vary in different markets.
