As promised, Meizu announced the company’s latest smartphone, Meizu M5s. Let us have a look at the specifications of the device in detail.

Display
The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with 1000:1 contrast ratio.
Platform
It is powered by 1.3 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor with Mali-T760 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Flyme OS 6.0 on top of it.
Storage
The device comes with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB / 32 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB using microSD.
Camera
M5s has a 13-megapixel primary camera with dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, Sony sensor, 5P Lens and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity and Battery
The device supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano+nano/microSD), GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz) and 4G VoLTE. It features a 3000 mAh battery with fast charging.
Availability
Meizu M5s will be available in Star Gray, Champagne Gold, Moonlight Silver and Rose Gold colors at a price of 799 yuan (US$ 116 / Rs. 7790 approx.) for the 16GB version and 999 yuan (US$ 145 / Rs. 9730 approx.) for the 32GB version. The mobile will go on sale in China from February 20.
