‘World’s Highest Capacity USB Flash Drive’ With Up to 2TB Storage by Kingston at CES 2017

DataTraveler Ultimate GT flash drive has been launched by Kingston as the world’s highest capacity USB flash drive which supports storage up to 2 TB. The latest flash drive has been launched in two variants of 1 TB and 2 TB. Although the company will start shipping it from February, there is no word yet on the pricing of the accessory.

It provides excellent read/write performance and is compatible with USB 3.1 Gen 1. It also sports a body with zinc-alloy metal which will offer resistance to shock and has 72mmx26.94mmx21mm size measurements.

Jean Wong, business manager at Kingston said:

“With the DataTraveler Ultimate GT, we empower users to increase their data storage mobility in a highly manageable form factor. This is a terrific follow up to our 1TB drive released in 2013 and by doubling the capacity, users can store and carry even larger amounts of data easily.”

Only a little laptops that are released these days offer more storage. Considering that, Kingston has certainly launched a right accessory at the right time.
