Since then, the search engine has undergone a lot of changes in terms of performance and its looks. If you want to know how the search engine used to look 10 years ago, there is a way. To view the old look of any webpage in Internet, follow the steps mentioned below.

  • Open WayBack website by going to http://archive.org/web/web.php
  • Enter the URL of the website in the search bar and hit ‘Browse History’.
  • This will display a calendar view for you to select the date, month and year.
  • Once you make the selection, then that’s it. It will display how the entered website used to look on your chosen date.

WayBack is part of Internet Archive, a non-profit organization which duplicates the data present on Internet. The site keeps capturing the images of the websites every now and then and it has saved over 279 billion webpages.
