Xiaomi announced the company’s latest Smartphone in the Redmi series, Xiaomi Redmi 4 Standard version.

The Smartphone sports a 5-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with 72 % NTSC color gamut, 1000:1 contrast ratio. It is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 ( 4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor with Adreno 505 GPU and runs on MIUI 8 which is based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). The device comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB using microSD.
It has a 13 MP primary camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, 1080p video recording and 5 MP Selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The device supports Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano / microSD), GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and 4G VoLTE. It is equipped with Infrared Sensor and Fingerprint sensor and weighs 156 grams with 141.3×69.6×8.9mm size measurements.
It features a 4000mAh (minimum)/ 4100mAh (typical) battery. Xiaomi Redmi 4 Standard version will be available in Gold, Grey and Silver colors at a price of 699 yuan (US$ 103 / Rs. 6900 approx.). It will go on sale from November 11th in China.
