YouTube wants you to connect with your friends in it. The company has launched its own Social Network called as YouTube Community and it will be available in a new tab. The creators in the YouTube can use the platform to post their videos and much more to attract more viewers.
The users can either choose to receive the notifications for the posts or just view the updates in the subscription feed in addition to the new videos. The posts will be visible to viewers in their subscription feed on their Smartphones.
The company is launching the community beta with VSauce3, Threadbanger, Sam Tsui, Rosianna Halse Rojas, Peter Hollens, Lilly Singh, The Kloons, The Key of Awesome, Karmin, The Game Theorists, to AsapSCIENCE and John & Hank Green.
Kiley McEvoy, Senior Product Manager said in a blog post,
