The government of India had launched Digilocker app last year for the Indian citizens to store their certificates and documents safely. Today, the government integrated an option to add Vehicle Registration Certificate and Driving license in collaboration with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. The news was made public by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport.
This news is going to be a big relief to the people across the country. Because, hereafter, they will not have to carry the Driving license or other documents with them all the time. Instead, they can show all the necessary documents using the Digilocker app in their Smartphone. All they will have do is just sign up in the app using their mobile number and the process is easy as one-two-three.
