Apple is all set to announce the company’s upcoming biggest Smartphone, iPhone 7 in the next few hours. Although there are only a few hours left for the launch, it hasn’t stopped the flow of rumors. A new report is appealing that the company will also showcase the high-end wireless earbuds along with iPhone.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at the KGI Securities, the company is in plans to introduce a set of wireless earbuds which are expected to be called as Airpods. This report is a result of a rumor of another rumor that the iPhone 7 is going to be so thinner such that it will remove the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Ming-Chi Kuo said:
Apple will likely have its own-designed Bluetooth-like communication chip and launch own-brand Bluetooth headphones targeting the high-end market, with Beats positioned in the midrange market.
However, to know if everything is true, we will just have to wait and see till the event which is all set to start in the next few hours.
The Apple event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 7 at 10:00 am PT (10:30 PM IST).
