Release 52 in Chrome for Android brings battery saver and much more

Do you like a battery drain app in your Android Smartphone? Well, I don’t. Considering the feelings of people like me, Google has sent out an update to its Chrome for Android that will lessen the browser’s usage of power. The latest release 52 according to Google is smoother, loads faster and consumes less battery.

Besides the improvement in the battery usage, the videos will also appear right away without any pause. Not just that, you will be able to view the videos in the Data Saver mode, that will save your data by 50 %. The only drawback of this feature is that you will be viewing a lighter version of the video.

According to Google, around 1 billion videos are watched in the Chrome with the most of them in the Smartphones and other mobile devices. Therefore, to increase performance further, the Google has released this update for the Android users.

If you haven’t got the update, please be patient. It will hit your Smartphone shortly. Otherwise, you can always open Google PlayStore, navigate to the “My Apps and Games” section and check there whether the update has arrived or not.
