Do you like a battery drain app on your Android Smartphone? Well, I don’t. Considering the feelings of people like me, Google has sent out an update to its Chrome for Android that will lessen the browser’s usage of power. The latest release 52 according to Google is smoother, loads faster, and consumes less battery.

Besides the improvement in battery usage, the videos will also appear right away without any pause. Not just that, you will be able to view the videos in the Data Saver mode, which will save your data by 50 %. The only drawback of this feature is that you will be viewing a lighter version of the video.

According to Google, around 1 billion videos are watched in Chrome with most of them on Smartphones and other mobile devices. Therefore, to increase performance further, Google has released this update for Android users.
