Xiaomi has its launching event coming up on May 10. The company has already confirmed that the event is all about the new Mi Band 2 and MIUI 8 ROM. To add to this news, the latest buzz in town surrounding the Xiaomi is that the company will launch a Smartwatch later in the second half of this year.
According to reports, Liu De, the co-founder and Vice President, Xiaomi confirmed the existence and launching of Mi Smartwatch at an event in Beijing. This is in fact the first time that the company has confirmed the existence of a Smartwatch from its family.
Mr Liu also added that the world won’t see any automobiles from the company anytime sooner unlike its Chinese rival LeEco. However, he revealed that the company has plans on launching electric bikes.
As of now, there is no any details regarding the pricing or the specifications of the device.
