HONOR has introduced the HONOR X50 GT smartphone in China, succeeding the X50 model. Boasting a 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz curved AMOLED display with a remarkable peak brightness of up to 1200 nits and 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, this device is driven by the formidable Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It incorporates advanced features such as a 5100mm² VC cooling system, offering a spacious canvas of up to 16GB RAM and a storage capacity extending up to 1TB.
Equipped with a robust camera setup, the HONOR X50 GT features a prominent 108MP rear camera with a Samsung HM6 sensor, accompanied by a 2MP secondary camera and an 8MP front camera. The device supports millisecond-level capture, high dynamic light and shadow effects, and an impressive 3x lossless zoom capability.
Powering the smartphone is a substantial 5800mAh battery, and HONOR assures users that the device’s health will remain above 80% even after enduring 1,000 charge-discharge cycles. Facilitating a quick charging experience, the device incorporates 35W fast charging technology. Notably, the HONOR X50 GT has received SGS five-star drop-resistant and drop-resistant certification for the entire device, including its curved screen—an industry first.

It costs 2399 yuan (USD 337 / Rs. 28,550 approx.) for the 16GB RAM with 256GB storage. , The price for 16GB RAM with 512GB storage is 2599 yuan (USD 365 / Rs. 30,930 approx.) and the top-end version having 16GB RAM 1TB storage model costs 2899 yuan (USD 407 / Rs. 34,500 approx.). The phone comes in Silver and Midnight Black colors.
The phone will go on sale starting January 9th in China with up to 200 yuan discount for the first sale.
