OPPO has recently unveiled the A2, their newest budget-friendly addition to the A series of smartphones in China. This release follows the introduction of the A2x just last month. The A2 boasts a sizable 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with the Dimensity 6020 SoC, essentially a rebranded version of the Dimensity 700 chipset, and impressively offers 12 GB of RAM, complemented by an additional 12GB of virtual RAM for enhanced performance.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50-megapixel rear camera, accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfie lovers, the phone features an 8-megapixel front camera. The device also comes with a convenient side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security. Its textured back cover not only adds a touch of style but also enhances grip and durability. To keep you powered throughout the day, the A2 is equipped with a robust 5000mAh battery.

The OPPO A2 offers color options in Black, Green, and Violet. The 12GB + 256GB model is priced at 1699 yuan, which is approximately USD 232 or Rs. 19,340. If you’re seeking even more storage capacity, the 12GB + 512GB model is available for 1799 yuan, roughly equivalent to USD 245 or Rs. 20,475.
