HONOR, a prominent player in the mobile industry, has officially launched the HONOR Play 8T in China, expanding its widely acclaimed Play series. This budget-friendly smartphone is equipped with a generous 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD screen featuring a high-refresh 90Hz rate. Under the hood, it’s powered by the capable MediaTek Dimensity 6080 System-on-Chip (SoC), offering users the flexibility of up to 12GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM.
Running on Android 13 with the customized MagicOS 7.2 overlay, the HONOR Play 8T promises a smooth and user-friendly experience. Its photography capabilities are nothing short of impressive, featuring a 50MP primary rear camera, complemented by a 2MP depth sensor. For selfie enthusiasts, an 8MP front camera is discreetly housed within a punch-hole design.
In terms of security, the phone offers a convenient side-mounted fingerprint scanner, ensuring your data remains protected. A major highlight of the HONOR Play 8T is its substantial 6000mAh battery, which can be swiftly charged with the included 35W fast charging technology, guaranteeing longer usage without frequent recharging.

The HONOR Play 8T comes is priced at 1099 yuan (USD 150 / Rs. 12,520 approx.) for 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and it costs 1299 yuan (USD 177 / Rs. 14,930 approx.) for 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version. The phone comes in Midnight Black, Ink Jade Green, and Streaming Silver colors and it is already available in China.
