Well, the good news is that you can set daily limits for each app via iOS 12, which means that your iPad or iPhone will remind you if you have used the device longer than you should.

Here in this post, we are going to guide you on how you can limit the app using Screen Time on iOS 12.

Follow the steps mentioned below to limit the usage of apps on iOS 12:

  • Navigate to Settings > Screen Time.
  • Select App Limits.
  • Select Add Limit.
  • Now you will be able to set a limit entirely for all the categories of apps or individually for each app. After you have selected an app or category, you will view that you have selected a category.
  • You will also be able to set a daily limit in terms of hours and minutes.
  • To limit the apps, individually, navigate to Settings > Screen Time. Now tap the big time indicator right at the top, below the words SCREEN TIME.
  • Now, scroll down and you will be able to view the list of most used apps. You can tap any one of them and then select Add Limit. This is how you add limits individually to certain websites or apps.

How to disable Screen Time on iOS 12?

Follow the steps mentioned below to disable the screen time on iOS 12.

  • Navigate to Settings > Screen Time.
  • Now, scroll down and select Turn Off Screen Time.
