Google announced the next version of Android. And it is called Android Pie. Google had confirmed that the smartphones from other OEMs who have been part of the beta program will receive their Google update before the end or fall of this year. Now, OnePlus has also confirmed the Android Pie update for its smartphones.
Android Pie is the ninth biggest release of Android is the successor of the Android Oreo that is currently available in the market. The latest update brings several improvements such as Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness, Slices, App Actions, Overview and few other improvements in the areas like Notifications.
List of OnePlus smartphones getting Android P update
The exact roll out time frame has not yet been revealed it but it is expected that company may update the above listed OnePlus smartphone with Android P in November 2018. The Android P update for OnePlus smartphones will be available in this order OnePlus 6, OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The scheduled release date will be shared later by the company.
After Google announced the Android P update for Google Pixel devices, we have so far got the official confirmation from Motorola, Sony, HTC and Nokia with the list of smartphones that will receive Android Pie update.
