If you are using Google Chrome for browsing on Windows 10, then there’s good news for you. The search engine company has started rolling out an important update of Google Chrome to the Windows 10 users. Beginning with the Chrome 68 version, the browser will start making use of the Windows 10 notifications feature and the Action Center.

Google has been testing this feature for quite some time now since March and the company is now rolling out the same to the world today. Once the latest version of Chrome is installed on your Windows 10 machine, you would be able to view your Chrome notifications right from the Action Center. Earlier these notifications were part of the browser itself and the same will be continued in the older versions of the Windows.

The Chrome’s switch to the native Windows 10 notification feature means you will now have more control over the notifications. You would be able to apply a limit for the number of notifications which are shown in addition to choosing their priority. And most importantly, you would be able to focus more using the Windows 10’s Focus Assist (Quiet Hours) mode.

If you haven’t got the update yet, please be patient as it is being rolled out to all the users on a slow pace. However, let us know your views in the comments section below.
