Optiemus Infracom Limited launched the Blackerry KEY2 smartphone in India today. It sports a 4.5-inch (1620 x 1080 pixels) display with 3:2 aspect ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC with 6GB of RAM and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Blackberry Security features. It comes with a new dedicated key called ‘Speed key’ that lets you launch apps by pressing the key and the letter assigned to the app.
It has a 4-row QWERTY physical backlit keyboard and the keys are 20% bigger with same footprint. The keys also respond to touch gestures and supports flick typing, up to 52 customizable shortcuts. The spacebar has the fingerprint sensor in built just like its predecessor.
It comes with dual rear cameras, the primary and secondary both are 12 MP camera with 1.28 micrometer and Dual PDAF. On the front side it has an 8 MP camera. It has diamond patterned back with soft touch and features a series 7 aluminum frame. It packs a 3360mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. It also promises 25 hours of battery life with mixed use in one charge.

The mobile sports a 4.5-inch 3:2 display with 433 PPI, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection with a resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels.

It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo).
Storage
The device comes with two variants 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage, the storage memory can be expanded up to 2TB using microSD card.
Camera
It has dual rear cameras, the primary is 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture, 1.14µm pixel size, 79.3-degree wide-angle lens, Dual PDAF, secondary is 12MP rear camera with f/2.6 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size, 50-degree lens
On the front side it has 8MP front-facing camera.

The mobile supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS / GLONASS, NFC, USB 3.0 Type-C. It has 3.5mm audio jack, HD audio, FM Radio, Dual microphones and Hybrid dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD). It also has 4-row Physical QWERTY backlit keyboard with capacitive touch and Fingerprint sensor in space bar along with Speed Key.
Battery and Dimensions
The mobile packs 3360mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. It has a size measurement of 151.4×71.8×8.5mm and weight is 168g.

The BlackBerry KEY2 is priced at Rs. 42,990 and comes in Black color. It will be available at Amazon.in
