Sony announced the company’s latest smartphone, Sony Xperia XA2 at the CES 2018 event. The mobile sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a combination of 3 GB RAM and Snapdragon 630 processor besides running on Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box.

It is packed with a fingerprint sensor on the back side and will be available in single and Dual SIM variants besides packing 3300 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology.

The mobile packs 5.5-inch Full HD display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and Image Enhance Technology.

It is powered by 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 630 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 508 GPU and runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box.

Storage

The device comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 256 GB using the microSD card.

Camera

It has 23MP rear camera with 1/2.3″ Exmos RS sensor, Hybrid Auto-Focus, 84° wide-angle f/2.0 lens and 8MP front camera with 120° super wide-angle f/2.4 lens, 1/4″ Exmor R sensor.

Connectivity and Sensors

The device is equipped with fingerprint sensor on board besides supporting 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C and Dual SIM (Optional) features.

Battery and Dimensions

The mobile packs 3300 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, Qnovo Adaptive Charging and weighs 171 grams with 142 x 70 x 9.7 mm size measurements.

Price and availability

Sony Xperia XA2 will be available in Pink, Blue, Black and Silver colors from February 2018. There is no any word on the details of the pricing as of now.
