Samsung launched the company’s latest tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (SM-T285) in India that supports voice calling capability and 4G support. The tablet was initially unveiled as Galaxy Tab A 2016 a few years ago. It comes with 7-inch WXGA screen and has 5 MP primary camera and 2 MP selfie camera. It is powered by a combination of 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 1.5 GB RAM.

When the tablet was initially announced a few years ago, it came pre-installed with Android 5.1 (Lollipop) in the market. But there is no word yet on whether the company will still roll out with Lollipop or upgrade the Android version in the tablet.

The tablet comes with Parental control and Kids Mode which will let the parents and elders to set time limits for usage in addition to the restriction of the apps.

The tablet sports a 7-inch WXGA TFT LCD display at a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

Platform

It is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android operating system out of the box.

Storage

The gadget is equipped with 1.5 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM that can be expanded to 200 GB using the microSD card.

The device comes with 5 MP autofocus primary camera and 2 MP front camera.

Connectivity

It is equipped with 4G LTE,WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS + GLONASS.

Battery and Dimensions

The Galaxy Tab A 7.0 packs 4000 mAh battery and weighs 286 grams with 186.9 x 108.8 x 8.7mm size measurements.

Price and Availability

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 will be available in White and Black colors at a price of Rs 9500 via retail stores from January 5, 2018. The same will also be available via amazon.in in the country.
