With the CES 2018 event to kickstart only a few days from now, the Samsung has introduced the company’s first 34-inch Curved ultra-wide QHD QLED monitor CJ791 that supports Intel’s Thunderbolt 3 connectivity providing a single-source to link and dock the monitor and laptop. It comes with an aspect ratio of 21:9 at a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels with ultra-wide 178-degree viewing angle and 1500R curvature.

The thunderbolt connectivity will offer a processing speed of up to 40 GBPS to connect displays, docks and devices like Macs, USB Type-C laptops and other desktop accessories like external graphics cards or storage drives. It also allows the monitor to provide around 85 Watts laptop charing power.

The gadget is stylish with a slim-depth in terms of design with narrow-bezels which will be really useful for the multi-display setups without sacrificing visual appearance or content consistency. It also comes with QLED presentation technology which will accurately reflect the colors across a 125 percent sRGB spectrum for pristine shades, brighter whites and deeper blacks. The device also comes with a dedicated Game Mode that is powered by dynamic gamma setting which adjusts the color and contrast of each individual scene to produce a true-to-life environment.

The Samsung CJ791 QLED monitor will be displayed at the upcoming CES 2018 event in the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 9-12, 2018. You might want to read about what to expect from CES 2018 to know more about the event.
