HTC announced the company’s latest mid-range smartphone, HTC U11 EYEs in the U11 series in Taiwan. The mobile comes with 6-inch full HD+ display at an aspect ratio of 18:9 with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a combination of 4 GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor.

The mobile comes with fingerprint sensor on the backside in addition to a Face recognition technology. It also boasts IP67 ratings with dust and water resistant features.

The smartphone sports a 6-inch Full HD+ Super LCD 3 display at a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Platform

It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 64-bit Mobile Platform with Adreno 510 GPU and runs on HTC Sense UI which is based on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) out of the box.

Storage

The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage that can be expanded using the microSD card.

  • It has 12MP UltraPixel 3 rear camera with Dual LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF),BSI sensor, OIS, f/1.7 aperture, 4K video recording.
  • The mobile also comes with 5MP + 5MP dual front-facing cameras with f/2.2 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens, Real-time bokeh effects

Connectivity and Sensors

The device is equipped with fingerprint sensor on board besides supporting 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS with GLONASS, USB 2.0 Type-C and Dual SIM connectivity features.

Battery and Dimensions

The mobile packs 3930 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology and weighs 185 grams with 157.9 x 74.99 x 8.5 mm size measurements.

Price and availability

HTC U11 EYEs will be available in Black, Silver and Red colors at a price of NT$ 14,900 (US$ 504 / Rs. 32020 approx.).
