Just to clarify trending video does not necessarily means the one with most views. The list is released based on the overall trending chart, while YouTube’s list for India is expected to be released by next week.

The Youtube top 10 trending videos of 2017 comprises variety of genres like a ping pong trick shots video from the Dude perfect channel, covers of Shape Of You, Lady Gaga’s Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl video from this year’s NFL finale and A Bad Lip Reading of Donald Trump’s Inauguration.
The interesting part about the top 10 trending music videos of 2017 on Youtube is that 6 out of 10 music videos are in Spanish. While, the most watched music video is by Luis Fonsi’s Spanish song Despacito (featuring Daddy Yankee) with more than 4.4 billion views. The Despacito song has broken the record by PSY’s Gangnam Style three years ago.
