As promised, the Micromax launched the company’s latest smartphone, Micromax Bharat 5. The mobile has 5.2-inch HD display, a massive 5000 mAh battery and is powered by 1 GB RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box. It is equipped with 5-megapixel primary and selfie cameras.

The Indian smartphone manufacturer has partnered with Vodafone to provide 50 GB data for those who buy the Micromax Bharat 5 smartphone. It means that the new and existing customers of Vodafone would get an additional data of 10 GB for every 1 GB recharge if they would buy the Micromax Bharat 5.

The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch HD display at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

Platform

It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box.

Storage

The device comes with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage that can be expanded to 64 GB using the microSD card.

Camera

It has 5-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash and 5-megapixel front camera with LED Flash.

Connectivity

The device supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio jack and Dual SIM connectivity features.

Battery

The mobile packs a massive 5000 mAh battery.

Price and availability

Micromax Bharat 5 will be available in India at a price of Rs 5555 via the offline stores. The company is in the pursuit of selling more than 6 million units of Bharat smartphones by March 2018. The firm has also stated that it will launch Bharat 5 Pro and Bharat 5 Plus in the upcoming two months.
