Google Go search app launched to provide faster & unified search results

Google launched the company’s latest app, Google Go that promises an integrated Google experience to those of you who access Internet from the low-end smartphones. It allows access to the services of Google such as Maps, Translate, YouTube, GIFs, Voice Search, Search in addition to a search bar to deliver a unified experience. The app also provides top stories and trending searches from Web on any specific subject.

This app was just launched at its Google for India event. According to the company, the people will be able to find the content more reliable with the help of fast means of discovering and sharing even if they are using entry level gadgets. This was being tested earlier as Search Lite. Google Go is currently available as a preview only for the users in India and Indonesia.

At present, the app also allows you to set a secondary language. It means you can search the content in Hindi, for example. Once a secondary language is set, you will be able to switch between these languages very easily. Tapping on GIFs or Images will help you find the best photos and animated greetings to enhance your chats.

This will be really helpful for the people living in India and Indonesia, because, despite the entry of telecom operators like Jio and Airtel, the internet services are still not available and affordable to everyone in the country. In that case, apps such as the Google Go will certainly help to lower a huge barrier by letting everyone to give a chance to use the internet in the best way possible.
