Airtel TV gets new UI, Time shift feature for Live TV; free for all customers till June 2018

To compete with the Reliance Jio’s Jio TV in India, Airtel has updated its similar app, Airtel TV with new UI and Time Shift feature for Live TV. The service offers big names such as SonyLIV, HOOQ, Eros Now in addition to Live TV and other International and Regional content. The company has also announced that the complete catalogue of Airtel TV will be available for both of its postpaid and prepaid customers on a free subscription basis till June 2018.

The latest UI will let the customers to search for content with smart search filters across rating, genres and content partners. The company has added more than 150 new Live TV channels recently and the total count of them is currently more than 300 which also includes 29 HD channels like Sun TV, Gemini, NDTV, Sony, Zee and much more.

It also provides content in 15 languages like Urdu, French, Odia, Assamese, Bhojpuri, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Hindi and English.

The latest Time Shift feature in Live TV will let the users to scroll back the Live feeds and not miss their favourite telecast. The users will also be able to check whether what’s available on other channels or explore more programmes, all without pausing what they are watching.
