YouTube TV gets Picture-in-Picture support

YouTube TV app by Google has got a new update which will allow Youtube TV picture in picture support mode on Android smartphones that run on Nougat or Oreo. The app which was introduced in February is all set to kill the cable box. You can get all the popular channels such as ESPN, Disney, NBC, CW, CBS, Fox, ABC and much more at $35 per month.

All these channels can be accessed in three devices and up to six accounts at the same time. Since its launch, the search engine giant was able to extend its services to up 50 percent of the families in US with a app for gaming consoles, streaming devices and smart TVs.

The picture in picture support mode is one of the highlight features that was introduced in the Android’s latest version of Operating system, Oreo. And you can use this new feature in YouTube TV app very easily. If you would press home button while any video is being played, the window will shrink and pop-out. This will help you to do other activities.

Lately we have been seeing multiple updates by Youtube like 4K Live Streaming in YouTube is possible now and YouTube to stop 30-second unskippable ads in 2018. We hope the services will keep getting better.

Now, with the latest update the best part of Youtube TV picture in picture support is that you can still pause, fast-forward, rewind and return to the fullscreen within PIP window. If you are not interested in this feature, you can disable it in the settings menu.
