Mahindra & Mahindra will collaborate with Uber to introduce the electric vehicles in India. The automobile company had already teamed up with the Ola on the other hand to deploy the electric vehicles. With this new partnership between Uber and Mahindra, we will see hundreds of electric vehicles in Hyderabad and Delhi.

Pawan Goenka, the Managing Director, M&M said:

Our collaboration with Uber is an important next step to help accelerate the large scale adoption of electric vehicles on shared mobility platforms and meet the nation’s vision for EVs.

Once introduced, we can expect both the companies to expand this deployment to other cities as well.

In the wake of rising pollution and smog affecting certain cities during dusk hours, the introduction of electric vehicles can really bring a change in the country as India is not only one of the leading populated countries, but also very densely populated especially in the cities.
