HMD Global launched the company’s latest budget smartphone, Nokia 2 in India. The mobile was initially showcased at an event in last month in the country. For, Nokia 2 specifications it sports 5-inch HD display, is powered by Snapdragon 212 processor and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out of the box. For those of you who are concerned about having a smartphone which runs on Android Oreo, you can go ahead and buy Nokia 2 as the Android 8 will be rolled out later.

Display
The smartphone sports a -inch HD LTPS LCD In-Cell Touch display at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Platform
It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 212 Mobile Platform with Adreno 304 GPU and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out of the box. The OS can be upgraded later to Android 8.0 (Oreo).
Storage
The device comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 128 GB using the microSD card.

It has 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and 5MP front-facing camera.
Connectivity
The device supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS / GLONASS and Dual SIM connectivity features.

The smartphone packs 4100 mAh battery and weighs 143.5 x 71.3 x 9.30 mm size measurements.

The mobile is Splash Proof (IP52) besides supporting FM Radio and 3.5 mm audio jack features.
Price and availability
Nokia 2 will be available in Copper Black, Pewter White and Pewter Black colors at a price of Rs 6999 in India from November 24, 2017.
