As promised, Honor brand by Huawei announced the company’s latest flagship smartphone, Honor V10 at an event in China. The mobile sports a 5.99-inch 18:9 full-screen display with ultra narrow bezels. It is powered by an Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 970 10nm SoC with i7 co-processor besides running on Emotion UI 8.0 which is based on Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box.

The mobile has 16-megapixel RGB Sensor in addition to 20-megapixel monochrome sensor with Artificial Intelligence engine that provides Object recognition functionality and Real-time scene. It also has a fingerprint sensor embedded on the front side.

The smartphone sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ 18:9 fullview display at a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

It is powered by Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 970 (4 x 2.4 GHz A73+ 4 x 1.8 GHz A53) 10nm processor + i7 co-processor, Mali-G72 MP12 GPU and runs on EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box.
Storage
The device comes in 4 GB RAM and 6 GB RAM variants. While the former is equipped with 64 GB internal storage, the latter comes with 64 GB / 128 GB internal storages. The storage memory can be expanded to 256 GB using the microSD card.
Camera
It has 16MP (RGB) + 20MP (Monochrome) Dual rear cameras with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, PDAF, CAF, 4K video recording and 13MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity and Sensors
The device is equipped with fingerprint sensor besides supporting 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC and Hybird Dual SIM (nano SIM + nano SIM / microSD) connectivity features.
Battery and Dimensions
The mobile packs 3750mAh (typical) / 3650mAh (minimum) battery with fast charging technology and weighs 172 grams with 157 × 74.98 × 6.97mm size measurements.
Price and Availability
Honor V10 will be available in Red, Gold, Aurora Blue and Black colors at a price of 2699 yuan (US$ 409 / Rs. 26,350 approx.), 2999 yuan (US$ 455 / Rs. 29,280 approx.) and 3499 yuan (US$ 530 / Rs. 34,165 approx.) for the 4 GB RAM – 64 GB ROM, 6 GB RAM – 64 GB ROM and 6 GB RAM – 128 GB ROM variants respectively. The device is currently available for order in China and will go on sale from December 5.
