Gboard latest updates

Gboard is one of the most widely used keyboard apps in the world. The app already supports a wide range of regional languages and the Gboard latest updates has added the support for an additional 40 languages including Japanese. All these days, there was a separate input method to deal with the languages like the Japanese. With the Gboard latest updates, typing is going to be very easy for the people in Japan.

Don’t Miss: Gboard Stickers and Bitmoji Support added in the latest update

The company has been adding support for additional languages since the launch of Gboard on Android in December 2016. The latest update has taken the overall toll to more than 120 languages.

Besides the support for additional languages, this update also adds the new stickers. Earlier, it was not possible to get access to these stickers unless you have also installed the Google Allo app. With the latest update, you will get access to four new sticker packs within the Gboard app even if the Google Allo app is not installed on your smartphone.

However, the update will not set the language automatically to Japanese for those who need it. The users will have to manually set the language in the settings. If the update is still unavailable to you, kindly be patient. It will be available to your smartphone very soon.

The availability of the stickers is one of the things that define a keyboard app. That being said, the Google has done the right job by introducing new sticker packs in its latest update for the Gboard app. Additionally, the increase in the support for more number of languages makes it a necessity to have the Gboard app installed in our smartphones.
