GarageBand gets a major update on iOS

Good news for the musicians who own an iOS device. The Apple has introduced an important update for its popular music app, GarageBand which will provide free sound packs that features loops and new instruments from today.

Thanks to the update, the beat makers will be able to tap into a new Beat Sequencer instrument which is based on the traditional drum machines. The latest update also adds improvements to the Drummer and features new Asian Touch instruments, together with six additional players. The users will be able to preview and download the latest Apple-designed sounds and instruments inside Sound Library of the app itself.

These brand new downloadable sound packs which are available for free contains a lot of guitar and instrument presets, Live Loops templates, Apple loops, Touch Instruments and much more. Whenever the new packs are available, the users will receive notifications. The basic sound pack contains Guitar Amp tones, Beat Sequencer Kits, Reggaeton, Future bass and much more.

The best part of the new update is that you can explore the sounds of Asia with the help of new Touch instruments such as Chinese Guzheng, Taiko Drums and the traditional Japanese Koto.

The GarageBand with new version number 2.3 is currently available as a free download from the App Store for the iOS devices that run on iOS 11.
