How to get the Free 60 GB Airtel data?

Free 60 GB Airtel data

A few months ago in this year, Airtel had introduced a surprise 30 GB additional data for its postpaid customers. As per that plan, the customers were benefited with an additional 10 GB of high-speed data every month for a period of 3 months. This offer was earlier extended in April and June. Now, the company has increased this offer to 6 more months, which means that you will be able to enjoy the “Free 60 GB Airtel data”. The prepaid users will have to upgrade their offer to postpaid to avail this offer.

You will have to claim the offer via the MyAirtel app and your data will be usable until March 2018.

Below are the steps for you to claim the ‘Free 60 GB Airtel data’ offer:

  • Wait for the OTP after entering your mobile number.

  • That’s it. You’ve just claimed your free 3G/4G data and it will be added to your account in less than 24 hours.

The Airtel is giving tough competition to the Jio network. Earlier, the company had also added the privilege which will allow its customers to carry forward their unused data to the next month.

Our view on Airtel Vs Jio

We are using both the Jio and Airtel networks in Chennai. As far as our experiences are concerned, the Airtel has an edge over Jio in terms of quality, speed, and the customer care availability. The Jio is faster, but only in a few places. If you are traveling via a bus or train, your phone would use a lot of battery power to choose the network if your primary network is Jio. And the internet connectivity in Jio is also not stable during mobile situations. But, both the Jio and Airtel work like a charm in our offices and residences.
