SHARP AQUOS S2 Specifications

Display

The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD+ LCD display at a resolution of 1080 x 2040 pixels with 550 nits brightness, 135% sRGB color coverage, 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Platform

It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 630 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Cortex A53 + Quad 1.8GHz Cortex A53 CPUs) with Adreno 508 GPU /  Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out of the box.

Storage

The device comes with 4 GB RAM – 64 GB ROM and 6 GB RAM – 128 GB ROM. The internal memory can be expanded using the microSD card.

Camera

It has a 12MP rear camera with f/1.75 aperture, 1.4um pixel size, dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, secondary 8MP camera and 8MP front-facing camera, 1.4um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity and Sensors

The device is equipped with a fingerprint sensor on board to provide an extra layer of security besides supporting 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD) connectivity features.

Battery and Dimensions

The mobile packs 2930mAh (minimum) / 3020mAh (typical) battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and weighs 140 grams with 141.8 x 72.04 x 7.9mm size measurements.

Price and Availability

AQUOS S2 will be available in Green, Black, White and Blue colors at a price of 2499 Yuan (US$ 372 / Rs. 23755 approx.) and 3499 yuan (US$ 521 / Rs. 33260 approx.) for the 4 GB RAM – 64 GB ROM and 6 GB RAM – 128 GB ROM respectively.
