Facebook Messenger Lite app in India launched finally

A few months back in last year, Facebook launched the Messenger Lite app for Android in developing markets such as Venezuela, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Tunisia, and Kenya. The company expanded the availability of the app later in other 132 countries and the includes Netherlands, Taiwan, Japan, Turkey, Peru, Nigeria, Morocco, Algeria, Vietnam, Italy, Colombia, Germany, and much more, but India was not on that list. The social networking giant has finally launched Facebook Messenger Lite app in India.

The Messenger Lite app is more like the Facebook Lite app and uses limited data. The app is developed in such a way that it will work well even with slower internet connections. In our experience, we feel that it will be useful for users who have smartphones with less memory or inadequate resources to process. It also assists users to send links, photos, and texts easily.

Facebook Messenger Lite app in India is finally real. The social networking giant has launched the lite version of the app in sub-continent.

Thanks to its 10 MB size, the app will be installed in a few minutes and it is packed with Messenger features such as receiving stickers, receiving and sending photos, etc. Earlier this week, Facebook announced that it is going to introduce Ads in the Facebook Messenger app globally. We hope that the Lite version of the app will be exempted from this plan.
